A Sustainable Valentine, Rooted in Love

The other day, I received the sweetest and most sustainable gift from Amanda Perna—plant cuttings straight from her own garden. Instead of flowers that fade, she gave me something meant to grow, root, and live on. I love gifts like that: thoughtful, earth-friendly, and full of quiet intention. There’s something really beautiful about sharing pieces of what you’ve nurtured yourself.

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I leaned all the way into making my dining space feel soft, feminine, and a little pink. I had some girls coming over, so of course I styled the table to feel warm and loved-on. I placed Amanda’s cuttings right alongside my other propagations—a prayer plant (with the prettiest pink details, fitting the moment perfectly), a swiss cheese plant, money plant, pothos, fern, and bamboo. Together they turned my dining table into a tiny greenhouse-meets-Valentine’s moment, full of life, color, and good energy.

If you want to learn more about my dining table décor, plant vessels, or how I style a space to feel cozy but intentional, I’ve linked everything below. Sustainable gifts, pink details, and plants that grow with you—honestly, my favorite kind of love story!

Thank you Amanda!
