I am filled with gratitude and joy following my book signing at Boca Raton Historical Society. Thank you to the team for helping make this event so memorable. From the moment readers arrived, the day felt like a little adventure—complete with a vintage VW bus, bubbles floating through the air, and cozy storytelling corners.
Seeing families engage with Mila the Mollusk, coloring seashells, and joining in the fun reminded me why I love being a children’s book author and illustrator. These interactive moments—laughing, exploring, and creating together—bring Mila’s underwater adventures to life and make the story even more special.
Mila the Mollusk is a children’s book about confidence, self-esteem, and social-emotional learning, and celebrating it with such a playful, hands-on event shows just how much stories can inspire imagination, courage, and creativity in young readers.
The VW bus, bubbles, and coloring activity weren’t just decorations—they were part of the adventure, echoing Mila’s journey through the ocean and encouraging children to explore, create, and dream. It was a joy to see kids fully immersed in the story, taking the lessons of kindness and bravery with them.
To anyone pursuing a dream, this is a reminder: keep imagining, creating, and sharing your story. You never know how far it can reach or how many hearts it can touch.
Thank you again to Boca Raton Historical Society and everyone who attended or supported the book signing. Your encouragement fuels every story I write, every illustration I create, and every adventure I share with readers.
